Central Scheduling Clerk
Responsibilities: Take phone calls from clients and schedule, reschedule, cancel or accurately transfer calls as needed to various departments within the agency. Register potential client into the system for services, verifies insurance coverage with insurance companies, enter and update appropriate client information into agency system. Provide additional support to all departments as needed and where appropriate. Treat every agency client, staff member and community partner with dignity and respect while providing outstanding customer service. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Minimum of high school diploma. Preferred experience with reception, telephone system and customer service-related field. Must possess good communication skills and be able to work with diverse population of clients and staff. Demonstrates the following; ability to be comfortable with adapting to changes, dependable, detail-minded and self-motivated and initiative to use best judgement where needed. Must possess computer training and/or experience.
