Data Collection Specialist
Responsibilities: Writing and/or producing accurate reports and conducting analyses according to set timelines and project plans.
This position will extract, manage, manipulate, and analyze data for New Horizons programs and services; assisting with program evaluation support for projects and initiatives, to measure program effectiveness.
The Data Collection Specialist will develop, code, run, and/or prepares formatted reports to support critical functions; collaborate and / or assist in performing quality assurance checks on reports prior to completion; work with Management to establish and/or document quality assurance process checks to be utilized by all staff to ensure the integrity, completeness and validity of external and internal reports.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in clinical field, IT, healthcare or equivalent combination of education and work experience; technical experience in reporting and/or programming; proficiency with Excel and demonstrated ability to learn Electronic Medical Records information systems and software programs; proficiency with data analysis, data management & manipulation and interpretation; knowledge of basic statistics; experience in grants management preferred; familiarity with accreditation standards required; must also be familiar with appropriate evidence-based practices and must be sensitive and attentive to the cultural needs of agency clients.
