Health Safety & Wellness (HSW) Officer (CMA or LPN required)
Responsibilities: Daily site visits to each agency facility to ensure all Covid-19 Safety precautions are being implemented, including, but not limited to: administering temperature readings of staff, ensuring self- health questionnaires are being completed by staff and clients and recorded properly, assisting with the coordination of on-site Covid-19 testing for staff; communicating and implementing agency infectious disease policies and protocol to staff; leads HSW Committee as chairperson, conducting weekly Covid-19 briefings with HSW Committee members; implements agency Health Safety & Wellness policies and protocols; coordinates agency safety drills and inspections; ensures compliance with all agency HSW policies and procedures, as well as federal, state and CARF accrediting agency requirements.
This position will also provide assistance and back up coverage to the psychiatric services department.
Qualifications: Must possess either LPN license in good standing with The Ohio Board of Nursing or Certified Medical Assistant certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants. Experienced in or knowledge of the workings of a medical practice or environment. Mental health experience is a plus. Must be self-directed, flexible and highly motivated and be able to work with a team approach. Must be able to travel to all agency facilities in and around Fairfield County.
