Intensive Home-Based Therapist 


Responsibilities: Provides individual, family and group psychotherapy for children and their families; prioritizing high risk families in the community; performs clinical diagnostic and assessment functions; develops and maintains Individual Service Plan in consult with In Home Supervisor and Multi-Systems Youth Coordinator. Provides Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment services as necessary to assure effective home-based care. Provides timely and clinically accurate documentation in accordance with agency best practices; completes all necessary reports per project criteria. Participates in clinical supervision; maintains appropriate collateral contacts; consults with staff as indicated. Performs related administrative duties; attends meetings; assists in program planning and evaluation.
 
Qualifications: 
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in counseling, Social Work Psychology or closely related field; minimum two (2) years' experience in community mental health or closely related field preferred; clinical licensure required; experience, skill and comfort with children and families in the home setting; ability to function as a treatment team member; must be highly motivated and self-directed. Must also have the ability to work cooperatively with multiple child-serving systems, to be sensitive and attentive to the cultural needs of each child and family, and to communicate effectively in writing.
