Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Peer Supporter

Responsibilities: Performing Direct Peer Support Services. 
Provide linkage, coordination, monitoring and outreach function.  Engage with clients referred with a history or current opioid disorder and criminal justice involvement. 
Assist in facilitating linkage and engagement with Treatment providers. Provides ongoing engagement and interventions to existing clients with SUD diagnosis who would benefit from the Peer Supporters own lived experience of recovery. 
Encourage hope and optimism and ideas/feedback to facilitate recovery. 
 
Qualifications: Ohio Peer Support Certification is required.
Ohio driver's license; proof of automobile liability insurance (minimum $100,000); high school degree or equivalent. 
Willingness to disclose own lived experience of recovery.  Demonstrates good organizational skills. 
Exhibits respect, compassion, warmth, caring and friendliness; non-judgmental of varying cultural beliefs, ability to set limits, confront behaviors and redirect.
