Responsibilities: Providing Assessments, individual psychotherapy, psychoeducation, case management, referral and linkage to adults in the jail and recently released from the jail with substance use disorders. Psychotherapy services include enhancement of: psychological and social functioning; self-esteem; coping abilities; vocational, educational and social opportunities. Performs diagnostic and assessment specific to SUD (Substance Use Disorder) treatment. Develops and maintains Individual Service Plans. Provides client with linkage to appropriate resources, including MAT programs in the community and case management. Services are provided in an integrated manner and appropriate level of intensity. Timely and assertive referral and linkage a priority outcome for this position.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Substance Abuse or closely related field preferred. CCDCIII certification or licensure in social work or counseling with SUD scope of practice is required. Minimum two (2) years post Masters Experience preferred. Licensure also required (LSW/LISW/LPC/LPCC/MFT).
