Crisis Stabilization Unit Program Coordinator 

Responsibilities: Oversee day to day operations and administrative supervision of an adult residential crisis unit. Responsibilities include developing policy and procedures, recruiting and hiring staff, working with regulatory agencies regarding licensure requirements, purchasing of supplies, and building relationships with agency stakeholders.
Provides Direct Supervision of the day to day clinical and programmatic operations of the unit and activities including clinical services. Assures staff are following unit protocols and delivering appropriate services. Program management including staffing, schedules and coverage, staff hiring, training and supervision. Staff training in clinical and EMR skills; monitoring of agency standards as related to medical records compliance and employee productivity. Attends and provides training to team on crisis de-escalation, risk assessment and suicide assessment and prevention. Attends required meetings and supervisions, collects necessary data, and provides other administrative functions as needed. Represents unit in community meetings and within the agency as necessary.
Additional duties include agency training on HIPAA and related issues; ensuring client’s rights and concerns are addressed; serving as part of an interdisciplinary team

 

Qualifications: RN with psychiatric experience, or Masters in mental health related field and licensure at independent level preferred (LISW/LISW-S/LPCC/LPCC-S). Experience in inpatient or residential setting, management, working with quality assurance, developing trainings, and familiarity with CARF or other accreditation organizations preferred. Excellent Communication and organizational skills; ability to work with diverse population; the capacity for both independent functioning as well as collaborating on team-based projects. Computer literacy skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); presentation and public speaking skills; are required along with daytime travel as needed, and ability to work flexible schedule.
