Certified Chemical Dependency Assistant

What will you do? 

Responsibilities for this position include: 

• Provide assistance to the Substance Use Disorder team 

• Provide case management services 

• Assist with providing individual and group counseling services 

What kind of qualifications do you need? 

Are you at least 21, have your CDCA licensure, and at least 1 year of working in a substance abuse or mental health field? Then this position could be for you! 

Applicants for this role must possess at least a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance. They should be able to provide non-judgmental services to people with a wide variety of experience, cultures, and beliefs, a commitment to Recovery Model philosophy and standards, and the ability to foster an environment to support the recovery for the people we serve. Additionally, applicants must be able to teach and model skills, set limits, confront behaviors, and provide appropriate redirection.
