About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a school-based Early Intervention Specialist in Lancaster, Ohio.


What will you do?

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Implementing Mindwise Signs of Suicide (SOS) program in assigned junior high and high schools.

  • Administer screenings to measure for suicidality and/or other mental health disorders.

  • Provide presentations and conduct interviews with students and/or their families.

  • Provide training, information, and resources, collect and complete reporting on a monthly basis.


What kind of qualifications do you need?

Do you want to work in the school system, have a Bachelor’s Degree in a mental health related discipline, and the ability to teach groups of students or adults? Can you interact and communicate with a wide variety of people with different beliefs, backgrounds, and cultures? Then this position might be for you!

Licensure (LSW/LISW/LPC/LPCC) preferred. Applicants must be able to work cooperatively with educations in a school setting, be able to self-direct and provide dependable services, and maintain cultural sensitivity to the needs of each student and family. A knowledge of HIPPA and mandated reporting laws is required.
