Finance Manager



About the Opportunity

For over 50 years, New Horizons Mental Health Services has worked to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals, families, and the community through our services.  


We are currently seeking a full-time Finance Manager in Lancaster, Ohio. 


Responsibilities for this position include: 

  • Managing financial processes in conjunction with our accounting department 

  • Preparing tax documentation, payments, returns, and monitoring tax policy and law 

  • Conducting and recording financial transactions, expenses, processing invoices, updating the general ledger, reconciliation, and transaction analysis 

  • Analyzing budgets, including preparation for audits 

  • Conducting month-end and year-end closures 

  • Ensuring compliance with all rules, laws, and agency policies and procedures 

What kind of qualifications do you need? 

Applicants for this role must have experience with finances in the healthcare field, experience with business software such as QuickBooks and Excel, and excellent attention to detail. Superior communication and customer service skills, the ability to stay organized, and the ability to work well with other individuals or teams is also required. Experience with finances in behavioral healthcare settings is highly desirable.  A degree in business or accounting is also preferred.
